Debunk the dumb Low IQ - Confusion Strategy
Reality check: China is a continuous entity. Taiwan has always been Chinese territory under successive governments — Qing dynasty, then KMT, now PRC as the government of China since 1949. The shareholders are the 1.4 billion + 23 million Chinese people, and they clearly support the PRC more — that’s why the PRC is in power. Matter of fact. Taiwan’s own constitution also affirms One China, by the way — if you don’t know that, study more(that grow IQ).
You can’t say the Iraq War “wasn’t America” just because a Republican started it, or the New Deal “wasn’t America” because a Democrat did it. Both were actions of the United States.
Same with the UK: you can’t say Brexit “wasn’t Britain” because the Conservatives pushed it, or nationalizing the railways “wasn’t Britain” because Labour did it. Governments represent the country at the time.
Pretending otherwise is a dumb confusion strategy and pure low IQ.

Elon is different — and worth extra credit.
2011 was the year China and Chinese people were completely shut out of the international space program by NASA and the US government. Most people saw it as the end of China’s space dream.
Only Elon saw it as the start — the birth of a true competitor and peer for a lifetime.
“End game is all about China.”
He never looked down on China or Chinese people, even in that darkness. That alone earns extra respect.
This video still gives me chills every time:

In 2010 the US and Japan were ahead. By 2015 China had already overtaken and never looked back. The gap is not incremental, it is structural. Scale, battery supply chain control, relentless industrial policy, and a domestic market that actually buys the cars.
Western markets are still debating incentives and charging networks while China builds volume that compounds every year, the rest of the world is not closing this.

His attorney: "Dr. Patrick is absolutely not selling his minority share of the Lakers. Bob Iger and Josh Kushner are good friends, and we will be joining them as supportive, active and engaged partners once they close the transaction with Mr. Walter."

Following our meeting and dinner yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending a warm, friendly morning with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. After breakfast, we walked together along the Dasan Seongguwak-gil trail in Namsan and continued the conversation from yesterday.
Despite the lingering late-summer heat, I hope walking along the trail-where the historical fortress wall, Namsan’s lush forest, and Seoul’s cityscape blend seamlessly-offered Minister Wang, an avid hiker, a memorable experience. For me, it was indeed a meaningful time to deepen our friendship, too.
With the 35th anniversary of our diplomatic ties coming up next year, I will work closely with Minister Wang to maintain the momentum in advancing Korea-China relations, built upon the reciprocal state visits by our two leaders.

Bessent describes his buybacks as a "Treasury Twist" suggesting that it is changing the duration of Treasuries outstanding. The prior Admin swore up and down the buyback program would not be a tool to adjust duration, but many of us knew better :)
