@DamonAlbarn I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You donβt have to like my songs but itβs really fucked up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.
@DocShnox And how it affects our students. In addition, I wanted to leave something for them to push through the remaining months at school. That is why I came up with the hallway transformation so that students can continue learning in a positive atmosphere!
Field Placement at Elkton Elementary School: COVID-19 has severely impacted most of the world, but students have been one of the most vulnerable populations during this stressful time period. #JMUPsychSymposium2021
@DocShnox When I started my Field Placement, I saw how students were not having the same experience that they used to. They couldnβt be close to anyone, eat lunch next to their friends, or be at school that much due to the virus. So I wanted to research this virus...
@ClaireWLyons1@MStoloff I would love to see more research on how COVID is affecting students overall, but specifically in their educational endeavors and mental health over the years following the pandemic.
@ClaireWLyons1@MStoloff Since this topic still has limited research, the best interventions that have been developed in my own site are more access to the school counselor. In addition, creating focus groups that discuss anxiety and worry and ways to overcome these issues.
@Applekj3 I placed paper all along the walls so that they were covered and created decorations to match the themes that were asked of me. They wanted a nursery rhyme theme, so I did research on the most popular nursery rhymes. Here are two examples of the decorations, but there were more.
@MStoloff This was a way for students to be exposed to a more positive atmosphere when they returned to school after spring break! Since the transition of 2 days a week to 4 days a week can be challenging, it is supposed to encourage the learning process!
