Hideo Kojima-san reveals a new screenshot from his mysterious upcoming game OD🚀

✅Ambitious new horror game created by Hideo Kojima in collaboration with Oscar-winning filmmaker Jordan Peele.

✅Starring Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer, and the late Udo Kier.

✅Kier was 3D-scanned before his death in November 2025, and active filming with the rest of the cast has now begun.

✅The title “OD” refers to making the player “overdose on fear” aiming to push the limits of scariness in a single-player experience.

✅Features a highly secretive, never-before-seen game system that will somehow allow terrified players to keep going even when the game gets too scary.

✅Kojima’s pitch was initially rejected as “crazy” by multiple major companies before former Xbox CEO Phil Spencer understood the vision, securing the boundary-pushing game for the Xbox platform.

✅Kojima describes it as a “deeply moving” game

“I wanted to go beyond the limit of the 'scariness' that other games had reached. It's a single-player game, and I wanted to make it as scary as possible. But for those that might stop playing when it gets too scary, I have thought of a system that will allow them to keep going.
