I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!
and I say this as someone who WAS a school choice kid and had to listen to parents demand school choice be dissolved because they believed these students brought “trouble.” My district was 20 min south of Detroit. You can figure out what they meant.
I’m calling it now: his supporters are going to LOVE school choice until they realize that means anyone can come to their school and then they’ll call for an end to it because that means people that don’t look like them will be classmates with their kids.
Trump announces ten point plan to revitalize American schools, with a final point that he will end the Department of Education and give power back to states:
1. Parental choice in education.
2. Hire and reward greatness, fire poor performers.
“They will be fired, like on The Apprentice: ‘You’re fired.’”
3. Classes focused on knowledge and skills, not political indoctrination.
4. Students will be taught to love their country.
5. School prayer will be supported.
6. Immediate expulsion for violence and tough policies on drugs.
7. School choice guarantee for parents.
8. Access to project-based learning for meaningful work.
9. Access to internships.
“I want them to be more successful than Trump.”
10. Ensure that all schools provide career and job counseling for high school and college students to secure jobs aligned with their “God-given talents.”

I worked in a medical school with Roe was overturned and I consistently heard from students that they would not apply to residencies in red states.
This is how consequential elections are. Women are suffering because of dangerous policies.
I am hearing that Ob/Gyn residency applicants are pulling their applications from red states.
As someone who now lives in a red state, my heart breaks for the women here. But I also understand.
@cambyrd34 We desperately need a strong coalition of young people to organize to ensure democracy continues and that the governor’s race in 2 years sways the way we want it to
I want to run for office so bad but unfortunately i have a mouth and would not get elected simply because old white men would not like what i have to say
Women I need you to hear me: if Trump wins this election, figure out your birth control plan. Republicans have been itching to repeal the ACA which required insurance companies to cover it. I’m not being dramatic. Schedule an appt with your OB/GYN or PCP.
