People often ask me whether I am bothered by the hatred of the Jewish people around the world.

Let me remind you that neither Israel nor the church was ever designed to be loved by the world. Israel was chosen to reveal the one true God to the nations, and the church was sent to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Both stand as a testimony that confronts a world in rebellion against God.

Jesus Himself warned His followers:

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you… If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.”
— John 15:18, 20 (NKJV)

He also said:

“Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets.”
— Luke 6:26 (NKJV)

If the world loves us because we have compromised the truth, something is wrong. But if the world hates us because we faithfully represent Christ, we are simply sharing in what He Himself experienced.

Everything God did in Israel and through Israel had one ultimate purpose. As the prophet Ezekiel repeatedly declared:

“Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”

When Israel rejected the Messiah, the responsibility of taking the gospel to the nations was entrusted to the church, made up of both Jews and Gentiles. Yet God’s story with the nation He calls His inheritance did not end there.

As a believer, I am committed to proclaiming the good news of the Hope of Israel. That is exactly how Paul referred to the Messiah when he declared:

“For the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.”
— Acts 28:20 (NKJV)

As a Jew, I am equally committed to proclaiming the good news that the Lord is not finished with His people. Just as He promised, His plans for Israel are to give them “a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11), until the day when “all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26).

The Gentile nations lived in disobedience before the coming of the Messiah. Israel, as a nation, stumbled by rejecting Him when He came. Yet God has sovereignly used both to accomplish His redemptive plan, showing mercy first to the Gentiles through Israel’s stumbling, and one day showing mercy to Israel as well.

That is exactly what Paul wrote:

“For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy. For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!”
— Romans 11:30-33 (NKJV)

Before anyone misunderstands what I am saying, let me make one thing absolutely clear.

If you’re wondering whether I am suggesting that being Jewish is enough to be saved, the answer is no.

I will take you back to the words of Jesus Himself, spoken to one of the most respected leaders of the Jewish people, Nicodemus:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
— John 3:3 (NKJV)

If a leader of Israel needed to be born again, then so does every Jew. And if a religious Jew needed the Messiah for salvation, then so does every Gentile.

Salvation has always been, and will always be, by grace through faith in the Messiah. There is only one Savior, one gospel, and one way to the Father.

The distinction between Israel and the church is not about two different ways of salvation. It is about two distinct callings within God’s redemptive plan. The same Messiah who saves all who believe today is the One who will one day fulfill every promise He made to Israel.

The hatred of the world does not concern me. What concerns me is whether we remain faithful to God’s calling. Israel must remain Israel. The church must remain the church. And together, both continue to testify to the faithfulness of the God of Israel until the King returns.

You are not angry at the Jews.

You are angry at God.

You are angry because God made promises you cannot revoke, chose a people you cannot replace, and reserved authority you cannot seize.

Israel is the jurisdictional limit God placed on your insane obsession with power. Their continued election reminds you that the covenant belongs to God, history belongs to God, and you do not get to sit on His throne and redistribute His promises according to your theology.

That is why you cannot leave the Jews alone.

Their existence is a standing rebuke to your delusion that the Church inherited the authority to disinherit whomever it pleases.

You do not hate “dispensationalism.” You hate the fact that God’s gifts and calling are irrevocable.

You do not resent Jewish unbelief. You resent divine sovereignty.

And beneath all the pious language about conversion is the same ancient rebellion: God has placed a limit on your authority, and you cannot forgive Him for it.

With regard to "Judeo Christian":

The 10 Commandments are Jewish.

The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.

The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.

The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.

The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.

This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.

And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term:

Christ Himself was a Jew.

My activities are still very limited at the moment. I have been doing some writing, however–thank God.

I'm so relieved to be once again doing something creative and useful.

I have also been watching Professor Paul Kengor's The Dark Side of Marxism from @petersonacademy.  

It does not feature the Marx portrayed by the woke university socialist acolytes (to put it mildly).

I interviewed @DrPaulKengor a year ago or so ago on my podcast. He's a truly engaging, creative and witty storyteller and lecturer.

It turns out that Old Karl was quite the satanic soul.

He was a parasite economically all his life, extorting continual support from his long-suffering relatives.

He wrote (and admired) purposefully demonic poetry and drama.

Most disturbing, however, was his choice of favorite quote. From Goethe's Faust, it's a line I have quoted many times, in consequence of its sheer existential horror.

It's Mephistopheles presenting his identity and central credo:

“I am the Spirit that endlessly denies!
And rightly, too; for all that comes to birth
Is fit for overthrow, as nothing worth;
Wherefore the world were better sterilized;
Thus all that's here as Evil recognized
Is gain to me, and downfall, ruin, sin.
The very element I prosper in.”

My mother’s name was Florence Klein.
She was a young Jewish girl in Hungary when the world decided that we were not human.

She had dreams.
She had family.
She had a simple life.

And within months… everything disappeared.

The Nazis sent her to a concentration camp.
They took away her name.
They turned her into a number.
They stole almost everyone she loved.

She saw the worst of humanity.
Hunger that bends the body.
Cold that pierces the bones.
The constant fear of not waking up the next day.

But there was something they could never take from her.

Her identity.

She survived the Nazi extermination camps not because she was the strongest physically…
but because she refused to let her spirit die.

When the war ended, she was alone in the world.

Alone.

And do you know what she did?

She didn’t choose self-pity.
She chose to rebuild.

She immigrated to Israel.
She learned Hebrew.
She worked hard.
She became a nurse.
She saved lives… after having come so close to losing her own.

Then she made an even braver decision:
To bring life into the world.

I was born in Haifa.
I grew up knowing my mother had walked out alive from a place where millions could not.

She didn’t talk much about the horror.
But her silence screamed history.

She taught me discipline.
She taught me pride.
She taught me that being Jewish is not just a religion.
It is memory.
It is resilience.
It is victory.

Years later, when I became Gene Simmons of KISS, when I stood on stages before thousands of people, with fire, lights, and roaring guitars…

I wasn’t just a rock star.

I was the son of a Holocaust survivor.

Every applause was an answer to the attempt to erase us.
Every sold-out arena was a message to the past:

“You failed.”

My mother never sought fame.
Never sought recognition.
But her very existence was an act of historical defiance.

The Nazis tried to turn the Jews into dust.

She became a root. 🌿

She built a family.
She raised a son who would conquer international stages.
She lived long enough to see Israel strong.
To see her son succeed.
To see that the Jewish people did not disappear.

That is victory.

Not the victory of power.
But the victory of survival with dignity.

My mother taught me that hatred does not build empires.
Perseverance does.

That fear paralyzes.
But identity liberates.

And that when the world tries to define you as a victim…
you can choose to be invincible.

She survived hell.
And from her ashes… I was born. 🔥
