@SwayerGeek@VedicWisdom1 invented for such pronunciations which did not exist in Hindi before. I have studied Sanskrit and so I know this. ऍ or ॅ is used for the 'a' sound as in 'alpha' and ऑ or ॉ is used for 'o' sound as in 'orange'. Hindi did not have these sounds before.
@SwayerGeek@VedicWisdom1 Not it isn't. I know you googled and it gives wrong answer. 'alpha' has 'a' sound like in "cat", not 'uh' sound like in "fun". So अल्फा is wrong as it is pronounced as ulfa.
