@SwayerGeek @VedicWisdom1 invented for such pronunciations which did not exist in Hindi before. I have studied Sanskrit and so I know this. ऍ or ॅ is used for the 'a' sound as in 'alpha' and ऑ or ॉ is used for 'o' sound as in 'orange'. Hindi did not have these sounds before.
