From now on, I will probably refer to my music as "midwest ambient" which combines my love for "midwest emo" and "ambient" music.

It's still basically twinkly post-rock, if we're really defining it. But I think innovating a combination of two genres is a net positive for me.

Officially began working on the next album.

The B-Sides EP will be out next month.

The re-mastered version of The Cycle of Solitude will be released next month.

All of next year will be spent on writing the new album.

I've been cooking up something for the 1 year anniversary of the album release.

And of course there is always that 4 track b-sides album I've talked about endlessly.

tomorrow I go to visit a friend's studio for a tour and will most likely be using said studio to record some of the next Makeshift Clouds tracks.

@djspeights @forekast And that's not to say that my project is 100% original or amazing. It's just that I really put a lot of heart and soul into my project. It was incredibly difficult to go back and finish most of these songs because of how emotional they were for me. I'm happy for him though!

@djspeights @forekast Haha, I was kind of nervous people would find him and I don't want it to look like I'm fully ragging on him. It's well produced, well written, recorded, everything. I just feel like "originality" should be rewarded over simply emulating what's already been done, ya know?
