@Abdulrah_maan Allah Sarki Baba Khalifa. May Allah have mercy on his accomodating soul. Was a big part of my childhood. Gave me the first job (internship) I ever had. That and a lot more.
Why is this not trending after being commissioned 3days ago ?
Sheik Tijjani Guruntum builds a boarding school for orphans known as “DARUL AYTAM ” Ya Allah bless him abundantly for this sadaqatul jariya 🤲🏽
My husband was bathing my daughter this morning before school. I entered the bathroom and this girl pointed at both of us and said:
“I’m not both of you best friend again.”
I said “eh???” From where to where? Its just 7am
I asked her, “what did we do?”
She said, “you are always angry at me.”
I said okay o, “why was I angry at you? What did you do?”
She said, “when I’m being naughty…”
I said, “oh oh oh, so you want me to give you sweets when you are being naughty?”
This girl said:
“Just say Olivia can you please stop doing that.”
So I will be starting soft parenting tomorrow.
I’m now in my soft parenting era.
They called Hitler crazy. But Hitler was not crazy. He was stupid. You don't fight Russia and America. You get Russia and America to fight each other and destroy each other
Honestly, I won’t completely condemn him. To a large extent, he is simply a reflection of who he has allowed himself to become, someone shaped and used by the system he chose to serve.
But my real concern is not Nafiu Bala.
My concern is people like me and many others. Those of us who believe we are capable. Those of us who know, deep down, that we can do better. Yet we sit back, fold our arms, and hide behind a convenient excuse: “I am too clean for politics. The game is dirty.”
That mindset is not wisdom. It is surrender.
And if we are being honest, it is a costly mistake. When good people withdraw, they do not purify the system. They abandon it. And nature, as always, fills the vacuum. Not with the best, but with the boldest, whether they are right or wrong.
So when we point fingers at people like Nafiu, we must also look inwards. Because leadership spaces are not just occupied by those who step forward. They are also vacated by those who refuse to.
Many now say, “The youths are not ready.” I disagree. The issue is not readiness. The issue is responsibility. As Aminu Kano emphasized in his ideology of people-centered governance, leadership is not a privilege for the few. It is a duty for those who care enough to act.
And as Maitama Sule rightly said, “New breed without the old breed will breed greed.”
That statement carries weight.
Yes, the new generation may have energy, ambition, and ideas, but without guidance, values, and accountability, that same energy can be misdirected. The solution is not to shut them out. The solution is to step in, mentor, guide, and lead by example.
We cannot sit on the sidelines and complain about the players on the field. If we truly believe in change, then we must become part of it.
Politics is not too dirty for good people. Good people have simply stayed away for too long.
And the truth is simple:
If you do not take responsibility for the future, someone else will. And you may not like the outcome.
To Whom It May Concern:
Come 2027, ensure you vote. Talking about my vote doesnt count. If it didnt, nobody would care enough to want to pay for your vote.
Its both a right and a duty.
Keep pushing this soft life mentality without caution and you end up qith resilient Yahoo boys and hookup girls amongst a host of others.
...And NO! I don't like suffering.
May God help us help ourselves.
To whom it may concern;
Please educate your wards on the value of resilience for the greater good so that they may preserve personal integrity. Our world badly needs this.
This "soft life" philosophy is being taken too far.
KADUNA UPDATE: - A Statement by the members of the Kaduna State Executive Council (2015-2023) - 18th February, 2025
Re: +ICPC seeks forfeiture of N1.3b for Kaduna Light Rail Project* - Part 3/3
12. Of course, it is not our money and we would gladly support any legitimate process that will raise funds for our beloved State. But, we, as members of the former Kaduna State Executive Council (2015 to 2023), want to make it clear to the whole world that there was no iota of any wrongdoing. What we did in respect of the Kaduna Light Rail Project was as transparent as it was legitimate and lawful. All that is playing out is that the Kaduna State Government is using ICPC to harass Sterling Bank to make it look as if what we did should not have been done in trying to build a modern and developed state for Kaduna. The money they are asking to be forfeited was not anywhere. The ICPC forced Sterling Bank to produce and deposit the money with the CBN. Now, Sterling Bank is in turn trying to force Skipper to pay them the money even when the company had rendered services to the Kaduna State Government! The project and payments were duly approved by the Kaduna State Executive Council and the Governor. The feasibility study and other documents relating to the Kaduna Light Rail Project are now the properties of the Kaduna State Government.
13. On the issue of paying money into the account of a yet to be registered company, there were divergent opinions as to whether we should use a limited liability company that is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission or use a company established by the State House of Assembly. It took sometime to go with Skippers’ preference for a limited liability company. In any case, opening an account in the name of a company pre-incorporation is not a crime under our laws. It only means that the signatories to the account are personally liable for pre-incorporation activities. Meanwhile, the same joint venture company, Indo Kaduna MRTS-JV Nigeria Limited had been registered in India. That was why the Indian NEXIM Bank agreed to transact with the Kaduna State Government. But for the Sovereign Guarantee that could not be secured from the Federal Government, the Kaduna Light Rail Project would have been completed or be nearing completion.
In conclusion, these are the facts. There is no basis for any forfeiture proceedings or Court Order. It is sheer oppression and abuse of power to confiscate private assets and discourage foreign direct investments. We challenge the purveyors of lies and falsehood to come forward with genuine documents to contradict any of the foregoing facts and we will respond accordingly!

Im having one of those days that make it painful to be a Nigerian. Challenges popping up everywhere and all of them directly linked to system failure.
Reason why everyone's looking for a shortcut
@Westsydehustlr@JjOcheikwu@dansatty I tire. Same " Yoruba " Mosque that I have prayed in countless times as a Hausa man. 🤣🤣🤣

@femiadekunle54@_Sufy2 With the establishment of this institution, Kaduna State now has three Federal Universities. More access for Kaduna State citizens.
@ohgunwalehadeni@_Sufy2 Absolutely. history has been unkind to mankind on this subject. We have abused power time and time again - In whatever form it has come to us.
@cisero81@_Sufy2 You are right. To expand on this, that religious extremist or that one person that may condescendingly disregard the way of the Romans while in Rome. Either can apply in the context that matters.
