"...We can confirm that the fire has reached the Fairmont #Jasper Park Lodge grounds, however, we are unclear on the extent of damage. At this time, we know that parts of the resort remain untouched."

We pray for the safety of all those who have evacuated from the community and for the firefighters and first responders who have a very difficult fight ahead of them.

I have seen the impact of fires up close in communities all over Canada.

Our hearts are with all those evacuated and everyone responding to this crisis.
