Good luck to all entering MLAGB Short Range Championships & English Pistol Championships 17/18 September. Shooting at Association ranges at Wedgnock, Warwick. 25, 50 & 100m ranges have covered firing points. Extended range hours for the duration of the Championships.
The next Long Range Rifles events are 28/29 October. Friday is a practice day at 300 and 500 yards. Saturday sees the Branch matches for the Rigby Cup and Whitworth Cup fired at 600 yards. Rigby is for any muzzle loading rifle and Whitworth for hexagonally bored rifles only. 1/2

MLAGB 600 yard Rifle Championship was held on Sunday at Bisley. Two 15 shot matches, one for muzzle loading target rifle and second for Enfield rifle (service arm of the mid-1850s and through the 1860s). Trying conditions with a very changeable wind. Well done to prize winners.

The MLAGB series of mid and long range rifle matches re-commence at Bisley in April with the 200 and 300 yard National Championships. The series progresses to 1000 yards in August.
