@DanRShafer After Sarah Rodriguez dropped out, rallying around Barnes would seem like the best thing to do for any that’s not for nominating a DSA candidate. While to perfect, he came very close in the ‘22 Senate race.
@DanRShafer It’s obvious why the Republicans want to prop up Hong. It would be a historic mistake for WI Democratic primary voters to nominate a DSA help elect Tiffany.
@DanRShafer Everything that has transpired over the past few weeks is mind blowing. Especially with influential Wisconsin Dems convincing Crowley to re-enter and split the vote after voting had already started.
@IAPolls2022@ECaliberSeven Don’t understand why Evers backed Crowley and not Barnes. I just hope someone defeats Hong in the primary and so Democrats can defeat Tiffany on November.
@StatisticUrban Both the optics and the strategy of Tony Evers & the “so called Democratic establishment” decision to endorse Crowley makes no sense
@shesrightshow Hasan Piker has no place in the Democratic Party. He seems like an authoritarian alt right online personality who has somehow finding a common cause with left wing extremist.
@AJentleson Mamdani is won in NYC. Winning in a swing state like WI & MI is different. While I think a populist from the Liberal wing can make great candidates in these states. Lefty DSA candidates will likely be horrible general election candidates.
@reesetheone1 Yes absolutely, 2022 was an election year that favored Republicans and he came close. Even if you if people believe Crowley is a better candidate than Barnes, him jumping back in would be risky. Voting has already started, it would be bad optics, and split the anti Hong vote
@RussOnPolitics They’ve already started early voting. I know Barnes isn’t perfect but he came pretty close to beating Ron Johnson in 2022 when Biden had a low approval rating. Getting behind Barns seems like the most sensible path at this point.
@KalshiPolitics I really hope Barnes or anyone other than Hong wins. Barnes came close to beating Ron Johnson in ‘22 when the environment was more favorable to Republicans.
@JoshKraushaar The reality is that the Democratic Socialist of America are broadly viewed negatively with a disapproval that is on par with Trump and Mega, and hold positions that are seen as very extreme by most and seem oblivious to that and the need to build a larger coalition
@JoshKraushaar It seems like a lot of people forget Scott Walker era and forget the stakes of Republican control in WI. Also, with the national environment expected to be blue, there’s a real possibility for a Blue trifecta. Nominating a Democratic socialist would be a gift to Republicans.
LeBron James played against someone now eligible for Social Security payments and against people who weren’t born when he already played in the NBA. CRAZY! 😱

@MarcoFoster_@DarializaforNY@democracynow There are issues with establishment Democrats and the state of our country, the only thing candidates like her accomplish is emboldening Far Right Fascist oligarchs like Trump, Netanyahu, and Musk.
@MarcoFoster_@DarializaforNY@democracynow She is not a solution to any problem. You can’t improve people’s life’s and solve problems by making simplistic broad generalizations, alienating 90% of the country, and gaining notoriety by saying crazy stuff. I’m a liberal Democrat and seeing DSA candidates win is sad.
@ConorLambPA I wish Conor Lamb would have won the PA Senate seat in 2022 and hope he gives it another go in 28. He’s mainstream pragmatic Liberal Democrat
@TonyLiebert Before the Knicks championship run, even with Randles recent struggles the vibe was that the trade was good for the Wolves overall. People are suffering from recency bias and emotional reactions to the lifetime of disappointments of being an MN sports man.
