@blonglet@NickHorob If you’re looking at a single entity to farm with, have you considered an S-corporation? It’s a pass through for taxes, like a partnership, but you get a lot of the other benefits of being a corporation. Can be used for farming in ND as long as all members are family.
@The_Chesini Not sure if it’s feasible for you, but if you can take delivery of the equipment yourself and drive/haul it across the border, it’s super easy. Bought a tractor in Manitoba, showed them a bill of sale at the border and drove it right on through.
Congrats to my former @Harvard bandmate @CarolynBertozzi on her @NobelPrize in chemistry! We won the Ivy League Battle of the Bands in 1986 with our rockin’ group ‘Bored Of Education’, with her on keyboards & me in spandex. https://t.co/LemA6pcSPV
@todd_hanten Moisture is pretty ideal in my corner of the state. Probably at field capacity or close to it for several feet, but the water table is down, so if we do get some rain, there’s somewhere for it to go. Looks like about a third of the towers here are at 29 feet. The rest are at 10
@SLandman9 Can’t vouch for the tracks since I’ve got tires on mine, but with the 1850 gallon tank, I can fill twice for a quarter and it’s reasonable. Having an extra 100 gallons on to make sure you don’t run out is nice. Also recommend going to a 3” fill if you haven’t already
