The Kiswa of the Holy Kaaba is made by more than 150 skilled Saudi craftsmen using pure silk, silver, and gold threads. Crafted through several stages, it is replaced every year at the start of Muharram.
That's not true. I bought it yesterday for ₦1,645 in Katsina. And before anyone rewrites history, it used to cost less than ₦500 in Katsina before the Tinubu administration.
Let's be honest in all our activities

Well done to Haidar for paying attention and backing your observation with photos, especially the vehicle's plate number. In the Northwest, where fuel diversion has been linked to criminal activities, reports like this deserve to be looked into not ignored.
I only wish your first stop had been the nearest police station or military checkpoint before here. That would have given security agencies an immediate opportunity to intercept them. Hopefully, the authorities will still investigate and clarify exactly what happened with the photos shared.
I was in an oil firm for 8 years, chevron to be precise between 2010 and 2019
Nigeria happened to us and 18 of us were laid off for no reason
I built 2 houses for my family
After I lost my job I went back to the house I built for family
Fast forward to few years ago I left Christianity and chose islam
My family pushed me out of my own house simply because I built it for family
They denied me access to my 2 houses
I left heartbroken

Life can always start all over even at 50 bro
Don't give up
The other day i was arguing with someone about how books like 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' are foolish to Nigerians at large.
One of the points i raised was that financial literacy cannot cover for systemic failures.
This is a prime example of the statement: “you cannot out-hustle a bad system.”
Imagine a loan was taken for this.

After financial stability, this is exactly what comes next.
First, build your emergency fund. Before you invest a single naira, this is what saves you. Without it, the day life hits hard, you’ll be forced to sell your investments at a loss just to survive.
Then invest, but invest wisely. Understand your risk tolerance and allocate your money to match it. Don’t put money you’ll need soon into something that swings.
That’s the order most people get wrong. They invest first and protect themselves last, then panic when an emergency comes.
Emergency fund first. Investing second. That sequence alone will save you years of costly mistakes.
If you need proper guidance on how to start, I’m happy to walk you through it.
One line from Rich Dad Poor Dad has stuck with me ever since I read it:
“The single most powerful asset we all have is our mind. If it is trained well, it can create enormous wealth.”
