Elbow flexion at front foot plant:
Look for hand to be inside elbow (90°).
The arm rotates the best at 90° angles.
Being outside of this position can be a red flag for elbow or shoulder issues.

You have to figure out how to relax and move fast.
If you relax completely, you’ll throw with about 50% effort. If you try too hard you move slow.
The dichotomy between excessive effort and relaxation is a tightrope you must walk.

We want the body to work from the ground up.
That means the hips fire first followed by the torso and then the arm.
This increase in separation after foot plant allows for the torso to accelerate much faster versus having little to no separation.
Foot down, then throw. The feeling we’re searching for.
Allow your delivery to happen, get to a strong position at foot strike, then bring down the house.
Stay sideways as long as possible.
Rhythm before foot strike & violence after. Rotate late, be patient.
