@Mets2026 every team has players like this that go through hot stretches on new teams. royals fans probably said the same thing about mj melendez. cubs fans probably said the same thing about Jared young. the Mets are not any different
@GrimaceLoverMan@JoeLiuzzi88 he has shown pretty poor command of his fastball which doesn’t let him effectively get to his secondary pitches. 4 walks in 3.2 against the reds isn’t good. just because he didn’t give up an ER doesn’t mean that it was a good outing or that he’s ready to be in the rotation
Explained to my wife that the Mets came back from a 4 run deficit to win it and she’s giving me the same smile she gives our son when he discovers a cool rock
@nyisles316@ernestdove x rays showed a minor calf strain on Saturday and he said he felt a lot better so it was probably unsure how he would feel on Sunday Monday etc. they can still IL him retroactive to the game he got hurt. doesn’t feel like much risk to wait a couple of days
@JoeMichalski@FinkelsteinRyan@JustinCLeto brother if you think Mendoza was the problem last year you’re insane. our starters went two months without going 6 innings. everyone in the bullpen was taxed. how are you supposed to win with that equation?
@JacksonBus58036 @NYCSports96@SNYtv offense still scored 0 runs and we didn’t use a medium or high leverage arm. I don’t understand why everyone is so confused about this
