Meme Lords Drift League just got a big gameplay update

New drift system. Hold your drift through corners to charge a mini turbo across three tiers. Blue, then orange, then purple sparks. The longer the slide,
the bigger the boost on exit. Chain them and you fly.

Speed lines and a camera punch on boost so you actually feel the speed.

Coins now matter. Grab them on track and your top speed climbs, up to a real bonus when you stack them.

Two new items. SHIELD blocks the next hit that comes your way. LIGHTNING is a comeback weapon that only the back of the pack can roll, and it spins out
everyone ahead of you at once.

Lap timer and best lap. Your fastest lap on each track is saved and shown live while you race.

Wrong way warning so you never crawl the track backwards by accident.

Grand Prix mode. Pick Grand Prix in the menu to race all three tracks back to back, earn points by finishing position, and crown a cup champion on the
final standings.

Plus better racing feel overall. Karts no longer get stuck, founder heads ride in every kart with name tags above them.

Controls. Accelerate with up or W, steer with the arrows or A and D, brake with down or S. Hold shift or space to drift, and press Z or Enter to fire your item.

Drifting is the core skill. Hold drift as you turn into a corner and your kart slides while a boost meter fills. The longer you hold the drift, the bigger the charge. Release it on the corner exit and you launch out with a turbo burst. Chain your drifts cleanly and you will pull away from anyone who just holds the gas.

Earn and upgrade. Coins are scattered around every track and each finish pays out in $MLDL based on your place. Spend it in the garage on top speed,
acceleration, handling and boost power, or unlock new meme lords to race as. Better gear lets you take on harder races for bigger payouts.
