@Huckstar12 100% on player. Parents can assist and hinder. Trainer is there to identify what to work on and the player has to do it. Coaches have to push and challenge player but if not being done then player has to say something to hold coaches accountable for the players development.
Sarah Lenz wraps up her HS basketball career at the All-Star Game with 18pts off 6-3’s! Her Stars team won 96-71! Congratulations @sarahlenzz@MNgbballAllStar

@GMacHoops The fact women’s/girls sports are still viewed as “less than” men’s/boys sports in 2021 is astonishing to me. With social media the disparity can no longer be swept under the rug. Many examples in the past few weeks. The old way of doing things does not work in 2021!
@Huckstar12 This year really emphasized the flaw in ranking as non conf games were limited. There will always be this dilemma. Do you schedule a game with a lower team in a class above and win or a top team in the same or lower class and lose? The latter makes your team better but hurts QRF
@Huckstar12 I agree the system is flawed. A team has to play the team that is scheduled or where they are placed in a tournament. The team that plays the best in that game wins. Teams always lay eggs and that is why the game is so much fun
Happen to go to YouTube and see the BP 3rd grade boys livestream. Thank you @jbergsAD for getting this system up and going and for broadcasting whenever possible!
I see posts asking for everyone to do their part so kids can get back to school and activities. How about the leaders of the states also do their part? The infection rates are basically identical regardless of what mandates each state imposed. Kids are safer in school!
I am not a smart man but have some common sense. The virus was naturally going to become weaker during the summer months and come back when it got colder. It should not be a surprise there is a spike in cases. What was done to increase hospital capacity the last 6 months?
@jbergsAD@KCHK You gave well deserved recognition but forgot one person. Yourself. You deserve kudos for the job you have done this fall with everything! Thank you for all your hard work.
@aj3hadley Let’s not forget that this was done for the safety of everyone. If you are an athlete that does multiple fall leagues instead of high school VB or Football exposure level has increased significantly!

Athletes, your posts are your brand. Be aware that EVERY post you make or retweet is something you are putting your name on for good. 10 years from now will you be proud of it?
Is it positive, is it supportive, is it factual, is it a true representation of me as an athlete.
@bkru @Poptart_Larson I know that Shawn can speak for himself. So I am not speaking for him. I think the issue is in your response by using their and they. Change has to happen first with Me and I then change can happen for their and they. Do nothing is not an option.
According to the Women’s Sports Foundation, when young women are involved in high school athletics, they are 92% less likely to get involved with drugs, 80% less likely to get pregnant and three times more likely to graduate than non-athletes. SO YES, #ITSNOTALLABOUTWINSANDLOSSES
