The Central Valley Quarterback Club exists to support the football program, but our greatest privilege is recognizing the young men who define what it means to be a Warrior. Today, we honored two individuals who embody our "relentless" mantra through every rep, every snap, and every class.
First, we recognize Brady Noel. Brady is the blueprint for the modern student-athlete. A multi-year letter winner and a captain, he led this team by example. Whether it was on the football field, in the classroom, or on the track, Brady’s work ethic remained unmatched. His leadership isn’t loud or flashy; it’s consistent. It’s the type of leadership that builds winning cultures. As he moves on to compete for the track team at Slippery Rock University, we have no doubt he will continue to set the pace.
Next, we honor Ethan Shearer. Ethan is a multi-year letter winner, a captain, and a standout on the basketball court. Ethan doesn't want trophies; he wants results. He is relentless. You might find an athlete who is faster or stronger, but you will never find one who outworks him. In His senior year, Ethan showed us what selflessness looks like. When the team needed him to move from tight end to running back, he didn't blink. He put the team’s needs above his own stats because that’s what Leaders do.
Brady and Ethan, you have left the Warrior jersey in a better place than you found it. On behalf of the Quarterback Club, congratulations on your scholarships and your incredible careers at Central Valley.

Success isn't an accident. It’s a result of the "Relentless" mindset Coach Lyons demands from every player who puts on the Central Valley helmet. While most see the Friday night lights, the real work happens where nobody is cheering: in the classroom.
At Central Valley, we don't just "balance" academics and athletics. We prioritize the student before the athlete. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and maintaining the highest standards when no one is watching.
Congratulations to our student-athletes for their outstanding performance during the 2nd Marking Period. You are proving that you can be elite in the trenches and elite in the classroom.
Don't stop now. Don't be satisfied. Keep the foot on the gas.

THE ROCK GETS ANOTHER WARRIOR: LUKAS GEROVAC IS COMMITTED! 🟢⚪️
The Central Valley Quarterback Club is thrilled to announce that Lukas Gerovac has officially committed to continue his education and football career at Slippery Rock University. Lukas will be pursuing a degree in Safety Management while joining one of the most prestigious programs in the nation.
Joining a Powerhouse: Slippery Rock Football
Lukas is heading to a program that defines excellence. Slippery Rock isn't just a team; it's a perennial national contender.
A Winning Tradition: With 13 PSAC West titles and a consistent presence in the NCAA Division II playoffs, "The Rock" is a destination for winners.
Elite Development: Known for a culture of "Rock Pride," the program has a storied legacy of turning hard-working athletes into All-Americans and professional-caliber talent.
The Heart of a Warrior
Lukas’s journey as a Central Valley Warrior has been defined by grit, versatility, and an unbreakable work ethic. On the field, he was a force—a playmaker who embodied the physical, winning style of football that defines our community.
Beyond the stats, Lukas is a young man of exceptional character. He is a leader in the locker room, a dedicated student, and a person who represents the very best of "Warrior Nation." Coach Lyons is proud not just of Lukas's accomplishments on the gridiron, but of the remarkable man he has become.
The Invasion Begins
Lukas won’t be heading to SRU alone. He will join fellow Warrior Aaron Lawson, as Warrior Nation officially "invades" The Rock.
Congratulations, Lukas! We can't wait to see you dominate in the Green and White.

Warrior Nation, we need your help!
Two of our own, Ethan Shearer and Brendan Alexander, are up for the Mr. PA Football Terrific Twenty Five. Round 2 voting is open now. It only takes a second to support these seniors who have given everything to the Central Valley program.
Vote here: https://t.co/kmzh35K6x7
Ethan Shearer (#6)
Ethan has been a force on both sides of the ball. This season alone, he racked up over 1,300 all-purpose yards and found the end zone 15 times. On defense, he has been a tackling machine with 368 career tackles and 16 sacks.
When he isn't on the turf, Ethan is a key contributor for the Warriors on the basketball court. He brings that same toughness and work ethic to every season.
Brendan Alexander (#50)
Brendan is one of the most dominant linemen in the state. As a four-star recruit with offers from Penn State, Pitt, and West Virginia, he anchored an offensive line that paved the way for over 2,300 rushing yards this year. Defensively, he recorded over 100 tackles this season, a rare feat for a defensive tackle.
Brendan is known as a leader in the locker room and a dedicated student-athlete. He represents the high standards of Central Valley in the classroom and the community.
Let's show the state why we have the best fans in PA. Cast your votes today and share this post.

Great news! Our very own Coach Mark Lyons has been recognized by the Post-Gazette as one of the area's best coaches of the last 25 years!
This is a well-deserved honor for a coach who has done so much for Central Valley and our entire community.
As our program's first and only head coach, he's led the Warriors to an incredible 8 Conference Championships, 5 WPIAL Titles, and 2 PIAA State Championships.
More than the wins, Coach Lyons helped unite two communities when Central Valley was formed, building a program based on dedication and respect. He is a valued leader and mentor, and we are proud to call him our coach.
Congratulations, Coach Lyons!

A special recognition to our senior players. They have shown relentless dedication to Warrior football, giving their blood, sweat, and tears to this program. Let's show up to support them as they lead the team into the playoffs.
As Tim Grover said, "Relentless has no finish line."
That's what playoff football is. It's not about being tired or satisfied. It's about finding another gear, playing every down like it's the last, and refusing to stop until the job is done. There is no finish line for this team.
Pack the stands. Be loud. Go Warriors! #winorgohome🏈

Senior Spotlight: Michael Crea
Get ready for today's Senior Spotlight on the one and only #29, Michael Crea!
Mikey is the son of Amy & Mike Crea.
A true dual-threat athlete, Mikey has spent 4 years on the gridiron for the Warriors and also tears it up on the ice for the Central Valley Varsity Hockey team. His dedication is clear, earning him the honor of being a 3-Year Letterman for Football and a 4-Year Letterman for Hockey.
When asked for his favorite athletic memory, Mikey recalled playing for the 2024 WPIAL Championship at Acrisure Stadium.
Looking to the future, Mikey plans to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics to become an Airplane Mechanic.
His advice for future Warriors is to "Always pay attention during practice and have fun!"
Mikey wants to recognize a couple of coaches who have had a big impact on him. First, Coach Kramer, "because he is always fun to be around and in all is a great person." And Coach Slats, "because I always looked up to him even as a kid."
Congratulations on a fantastic career, Mikey! We're proud of you!

Senior Spotlight: Jarius Baker
Let's hear it for today's featured senior, #74, Jarius Baker!
Jarius is the son of Gerald & Angela Baker.
Jarius has been playing football for an impressive 15 years, which surely must be a Central Valley record! All kidding aside, he has been a valued member of our JV/Varsity teams for 4 years and is a 3-year football letterman. Jarius also participates in Track.
His favorite athletic memory at CVHS is going to Acrisure Stadium. After his time as a Warrior, Jarius plans to attend a university and continue to play football.
Jarius advice for future CVHS athletes is: "Listen to coaches and take every opportunity to improve yourself." He would like to give a special shoutout to Coach McCreary for believing in him and pushing him to be his best.
Congratulations, Jarius! We can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish!
