Egoism fuels bribery, which breeds corruption. Corruption, in turn, leads to the expansion of government, increased public spending, and eventually, systemic instability or collapse. To address this, democracy needs to be strengthened by raising the standards for who can represent us. We should evaluate candidates based on their ability to understand complex problems and their capacity to develop effective solutions. These two qualities are also strongly linked to honesty, allowing us to improve both competence and integrity at the same time. Only individuals who demonstrate well above average ability in these areas (scientifically tested) should be eligible to run for office. This approach would still preserve democracy, while reducing the influence of money and preventing unqualified (and idiots) or self-serving individuals from gaining power.
@elonmusk The only way the Universe can be conscious is via the infinity of sentient beings who are pieces of the Universe forming its consciousness... When we are looking at the stars, we are looking at ourselves...
Elon Musk is unknowingly an allied of the Raelian Movement. He shares the same vision of the future than the Message that Rael received in 1973 from extraterrestrials who created life on Earth. https://t.co/gSOuJSXtFY via @YouTube
