MLGW is replacing lead/galvanized steel water service lines *on the customer's side* at no cost.
Here is the deal - MLGW is already replacing lead and galvanized steel lines on the #MLGW side of the water meter, and we will continue to do that. There is also federal funding available so that we can replace lines on the customer-side of the water meter BUT funds are limited and have to be used up by September.
WE NEED ELIGIBLE CUSTOMERS to sign a Right of Entry form so we can replace their private-side lead/galvanized steel water line. To qualify the customer's address must be within the I-40/240 loop.
There really is NO COST to customers. MLGW will repair or replace any concrete or landscaping damaged during installation.
Interested? Visit https://t.co/2CjtE0HzuN and fill out the Right of Entry form. You can fill it out and submit it online (no need to print it off) and we will take it from there! @MEM_Council@CityOfMemphis
