At the end of the day, CQB is complex. There’s no perfect formula. It’s about adaptability and understanding that different methods apply depending on the situation, the environment, the mission, human behavior, and countless other factors. That’s where growth happens.

The recent feedback around a video I shared highlights a common pattern in this space. New or less conventional methods are often met with strong resistance. Some of it has been constructive, but much of it turned into mockery or personal attacks, which helps no one.

This work isn’t about being trendy, it’s about questioning, adapting, and improving. Debate is healthy. Dismissal without understanding isn’t.

Some situations can escalate rapidly, and getting out of them can take time. Staying aware and acting quickly according to the threat is crucial.
