Grade 4/5 students worked on their New Year Resolutions over the past two days! They include speaking more in French, improving their marks, and reading more in French! #resolutions#goodluck!
Today, over 200,000 students & teachers across Canada will participate in #TakeMeOutsideDay! This commitment is a small gesture, but we hope it has a big impact, raising awareness about the importance of outdoor learning and simply encouraging students to spend more time outside.
Reminder: PA Day tomorrow, October 11th, for all #OCDSB Elementary and Secondary Schools. Please note that all EarlyON Centre programs will not be running on this day.
Today is #OrangeShirtDay - an opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, local governments, schools & communities to come together in the spirit of #reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Learn more: https://t.co/xECOdnaGw6 #EveryChildMatters
Yesterday I asked the grade 4/5 class to write a journal entry about their hero. Today I read their entries and was moved to tears! I am so proud of their writing and explanations. Way to go kids!! #myheroes#frimm @JackDPS @OCDSB
