@AngieSheetsNews @CaltransDist3 Good luck at @AngieSheetsNews - it looks painstakingly slow EB. We’ve left and I think the traffic is crawling your direction. Looks like more chain checks and a couple of fallen trees. Also just a ton of cars headed to Tahoe.

@CaltransDist3 @CHPPlacerville @CHPSouthLake Open 50 westbound. Chain check so it’s super slow moving.

[VDT @mllevsf]

@CaltransDist3 @CHPPlacerville @CHPSouthLake Any update on this by chance?

@bart42826070 @SouthTahoeNow @CaltransDist3 @nevadadotreno @CHPPlacerville @NVStatePolice_N Sign says 4WD with snow tires but they seem to be letting ppl thru with 4WD. Will be checking treads of your tires though!

@chuckzissman @lesliebruceamin @AngieSheetsNews @MelanieHunterTV @CaltransDist3 You got it! I have one too. We finally made it past the chain check. That’s the reason for the snails pace. #thankful for 1st responders and team clearing the roads for us!

@bart42826070 @SouthTahoeNow @CaltransDist3 @nevadadotreno @CHPPlacerville @NVStatePolice_N Open. Just moved past it. It’s slow moving bc of chain check.

@Loud_Mouse @SouthTahoeNow @CaltransDist3 @nevadadotreno @CHPPlacerville @NVStatePolice_N Open. It’s slow moving because of chain check.

[South Tahoe Now @SouthTahoeNow]

The highway reopened between #SouthLakeTahoe & #Placerville but massive delays due to the volume of cars trying to go over since I80 is still closed. These photos on #Nevada side of #LakeTahoe miles from #EchoSummit @CaltransDist3 @nevadadotreno @CHPPlacerville @NVStatePolice_N

[VDT @mllevsf]

@RachelDahlen1 @lesliebruceamin @AngieSheetsNews @MelanieHunterTV @CaltransDist3 It’s really extreme slow moving. But we are moving. We moved past the chevron… so also at the base.

[VDT @mllevsf]

@wolfmomlesley @CaltransDist3 @CHPPlacerville @CHPSouthLake Looks like they are reopening soon. Tow trucks came thru and CHP came thru telling us soon.
