Dr. Holly Bowers’ lab recently participated in a site visit with members from NOAA’s Integrated Ocean Observing System Federal Advisory Committee! This weekly monitoring provides data on HAB species and water parameters to stakeholders.

Incoming @MLMLmarinesci Bio Oce lab grad student, Jo Kaya, drills through sea ice to sample seawater in the Arctic. Jo will be joining the program with samples in hand, and a field season under their belt already (talk about hitting the ground running!).
