@traintheteacher I used this with some of my students when trying to write short story proposals. Many were getting stuck putting ideas down and they found it really helpful to talk out the idea, then go back and edit it down to a clear plan!

Our focus as educators should not be on helping students understand what they will DO for the rest of their lives, but who they will BE for the rest of their lives. The latter will inform the former and means we as educators can focus on the human and not on the ‘work’.
