From inside an ordinary looking mound of snow, Socky has been making careful, measured throws of her stock of snowballs.

She's pretty sure it's only a matter of time before she's found. But for now, she takes advantage of her cover to strike at anypony close by.

Tonight will be one of those nights that she makes it back to her bunk.

...only it will take a little while.

For some time, she could be found looking up at the tree, lights glimmering over her and reflecting off her glasses.

A tree lit in the dark is such a pretty sight....

Her behavior may not say it, but her face does.

This is one of her favorite times of the year. It's a sign that Hearth's Warming is coming. It's so close, one could taste it.

She could also be tasting a candy cane she had hidden around...she too can be a sneaky one.

((Fluttershy's player here. I just want to say never give up hope. Things often look darkest at night in a cave under a blanket, but there is always the dawn and leaving the cave...but keep the blanket because a warm snuggly blanket is always welcome. ))

As her housemates did, she thanks Mr. @mlp_Plotline for the goodies, first helping herself to some cocoa, and then a brownie.

She wonders if cozy is the theme of today's lesson, but decides to hold off on asking and waiting to see what it will consist of.

The problem for her won't be writing a story. It's highly likely that a few ponies back home would have happened upon some of the short stories she's written in her notebooks.

The problem will be deciding which of her favorite fictional characters to write about.

Her company would likely include (proxied) @mlp_TenderCap and @mlp_KindleDrop, as well as one or two of her housemates.

But in the end, she wanders off slightly as they enter the woods, the sight of the trees and changing leaf colors never failing to captivate her attention.

The sight of @mlp_BeckyP would have surprised her, maybe even startled her, as she entered class.

If @mlp_JwlBurst follows her home later, she knows where the bird treats are kept.

But for now, she hugs @mlp_Plotline and takes her seat, waiting to see what today's lesson is.

There's one more hug for @mlp_Plotline from her. A very happy one.

The extra enthusiasm is not just from being back in one of her favorite classes....she would never admit to it but she too has likely sneaked an extra candy or two into her lunch.

She'll never match the volume of her housemates, but she too is cheering for @mlp_TenderCap and hugging her.

She can only imagine what's running through her head right now as it all happens at once.

While it's a sure bet that @mlp_TenderCap would be more excited, she's pretty excited to see what's happening, and showing it.

"Tenny.....you did it" she says in her usually soft volume, but the excitement it carries practically screams.

"They're all right, @mlp_TenderCap. Don't give up. Keep trying. They all believe in you."

A foreleg goes around her friend, hugging her gently.

"So do I" she then adds with a smile.

Seeing @mlp_TenderCap having difficulty wording what's happening, she tries to help.

"...you see, Tenny had a little surprise for everypony that she was working on, but.......well, it didn't work. She's so upset about it.

...I kind of am too. I helped."

"I'm coming, @mlp_TenderCap."

Carrying something on her back much like her friend, she follows her outside so they can start the plan Tenny put together what feels like many weeks ago.

She just hopes it all comes together. Tenny worked so hard on this. It has to work.....
