📰 @Sludge: Hakeem Jeffries Opposes Cutting Aid to Israel After Record-Breaking AIPAC Donation
"On May 20, AIPAC PAC sent two earmarked payments—$87,500 and $61,800, totaling $149,300—to the Jeffries Battleground Protection Fund, a joint fundraising committee that splits proceeds between Jeffries' own campaign, the DCCC, and more than a dozen frontline House Democrats."
The International Criminal Court seeks to become the unaccountable arbiter of a new global law — empowered to prosecute and arrest our citizens at will and existentially threaten American sovereignty.
We will teach the ICC the full meaning of American resolve.
@PersianFutbol lol country is being bombed, league has been cancelled since February, years of economic sanctions and visa issues because of the US. Somehow it’s the “systems” fault.
We (the American government) fund this…. And many American politicians (pretty much the whole Republican Party and 60% of the Democratic Party) would rather burn America down than allow this to be stopped.
On the opening game day of the USLC season, Louisville and Lexington players paused live play immediately after kickoff.
With the match clock running, both teams stood in place for 60 seconds in a unified display of resolve.
This is not symbolic.

Soccer legend Abby Wambach has cut ties with Casey Wasserman’s management firm after his name surfaced in the Epstein files.
“I have left the Wasserman Agency. I read Casey Wasserman’s correspondences in the Epstein files. I know what I know, and I am following my gut and my values. I will not participate in any business arrangement under his leadership. I also need to say this: I’m grateful to my agent, who I’ve known for almost 20 years and trust. Casey should resign. He should leave, so more people like me don’t have to. I am unclear of my next steps. That’s OK with me, I just know where I can’t be.”

Mauricio Pochettino last week:
“We are not politicians. We are sportspeople and we can only talk about sports.”
Pep Guardiola today:
“In every position I can help by speaking up, I will be there.”
Same game. Very different sense of responsibility.
@USMNTOtaku Unfortunately he isn’t a part of the establishment. We as Americans can still love what he is doing! We don’t need him to be recognized by the federation or MLS, he is bigger than that (and yes being an American coach in top 3 leagues is bigger than the USA coaching job)
@FabrizioRomano These are the career decisions managers make when they are more interested in having power than actually coaching. Which explains why he was always a shit coach, hopefully this works out for him better.
@TheAthleticFC Then after a string of 4-5 good games in MLS he gets called immediately to the national team! Nobody gets this level of access of getting to jump from club to club and nobody gets called to the national team so easily! That’s what a plant is.
@TheAthleticFC Then after Columbus Crew 2 he gets the chance to grow more at Austin FC. Who was the technical director at the time?? Yea ok, dad’s best ex buddy. Finally after doing nothing impressive at either clubs he gets signed to Vancouver Whitecaps.
@usmntonly It is crazy to me Peter Vermes in his experienced age truly believes that an owner spent this money. Either he is just protecting the Mafia (MLS establishment) or the American education system is truly cooked. This is what happens when a culture values Money vs Education.
