A 19-year-old charged with stabbing a man in Pittsburgh so badly his intestines were hanging out was released the SAME DAY without posting a dime.

Eight days later, he’s the prime suspect in ANOTHER stabbing.

District Judge Dan Butler let Delvin Dobbins walk on a non-monetary bond. Just a promise to show up to court.

Pittsburgh Police Chief Jason Lando couldn’t believe he was out.

“How can that be? I mean, he just stabbed someone in the stomach a week ago.”

And it’s happened before.

Two years earlier, Dobbins was let go after a burglary arrest because the juvenile detention center had closed. Two months later, he was charged with SHOOTING a convenience store clerk.

Two stabbings and a shooting. The man keeps racking up victims because the judge keeps SETTING HIM LOOSE!

Summer Lee’s education plan starts with more money — a "fairer formula" and higher teacher pay.

Pennsylvania already spends among the most per student in the country - yet nearly 70% of eighth graders still are not proficient in reading or math.

Families have noticed. Only about 74% of Pennsylvania kids sit in their assigned district school. The rest are in charter, private, homeschool, or career programs. In Pittsburgh, the district’s own report shows enrollment down 23% in a decade, and more city kids now in charter or private school.

Funding without results is not an education plan. James Hayes will expand school choice and measure what really matters - whether students can actually read and perform once they graduate.
