@stegan I think that is likely. We had an interesting (annoying) conversation in faculty meeting today about an open position in the library that is listed without a range on the university site but that the dean says that they would include a range if required.

Looking at a 1982 newsletter for campus employees. A new recognition system at that time spotlighted and gave awards to employees who used less than 16 hours of sick leave and/or maintained a minimum sick leave balance of 1,000 hours in the calendar year. Ick, ick, ick.

@stegan It’s like - maybe I work at home for 90 minutes and then drive them to camp and then to BG and the work for 4 hours so I can go pick them up and then maybe work from home for another 90 minutes. And how do you show that in a calendar when people expect you are in the building?

@stegan Even trying to figure out a “flexible schedule” for the few 1-week specialty camps I have them in is crazy. Particularly if I need to be in the office.

@stegan The perrysburg rec department ones are a joke. Honestly no working parent could possibly make them work. My kids refuse to go back to the Y’s summer day-care type camp so I was trying to sell them on BGSU’s

@stegan I’ve been stressing about this today too. Especially since Jonah is on the upper end for many of the regular “camp” programs. But I hate to leave him at home with nothing to do…

@stegan I succumbed to assistant coaching baseball this year after round upon round of pleas for volunteers. Last year he was in a division with 11 teams and this year just 5. They couldn’t even get 10 parents!

@stegan I love my aftershokz for running and listening to books around the house. I find them to be comfortable overall with the exception of winter running (addition of hat, headlamp, and glasses makes a lot of competing action around the ears). Not sure you’ll wear them outside, tho
