When your best efforts aren’t good enough, when you try your hardest & still fail to please, when you give your whole heart & it’s handed back to you in pieces, there is Jesus enthroned in majesty, delighting in you simply because you're His. You are accepted in the beloved.
I encourage every educator to spend this week recharging your battery, enjoying your family, and taking care of self! You can't care for others if you don't take care of self! You are the cornerstone of this society and you deserve a break!
Save time up front by using the first two weeks to build community, relationships, procedures, and routines. Kids feel safe when they know what to expect (so do grownups). #JoyfulLeaders
A summative score should not be derived from a single final assessment. Rather, a summative score should be the most reasonable representation of a student’s final status at a particular point in time.
