They were arrested outside parliament yesterday by @DCI_Kenya, and they haven’t been presented before the court.
How will they:
1. Stop piling debt & deal with odious debt
2. Stop/decrease consumption expenditure and stop new projects until all projects that are ongoing have been inspected and completed successfully.
Yaani we want someone who will stop kicking the can down the road.
Ask your favorite Presidential candidate our way out of the current debt crisis. Ask how to bring down our Debt Service-to-Income (DSTI) ratio and watch how clueless they are when they are not sloganeering.
Exactly. And when they say cars older than 4 years, who are the people who own newer cars?
The government officials that made the law and steal from us to buy those new cars.
We attended court for the arraignment of hundreds of Kenyans who were arrested during yesterday's demonstrations in Nairobi. We secured the release of more than 200 youth charged with obstruction of motor vehicles on cash bail of a Kshs. 1000, and the unconditional release of a mother with a 7 month old baby. We thank the Court for upholding the rights of all who were arrested for expressing themselves in accordance with the law. We turn to the ODPP in hope that all these charges will be dropped.

I have read Lee Kuan Yew’s book from third world to first world, I am yet to find a page where talks about building malls and churches. But he has mentioned education, public healthcare, investment in industry, keeping consumption expenditure down. The fundamentals must be respected.
It disturbing and disgusting, that in this time and age, there are Kenyans - of good education and sound mind, who believe "DEVELOPMENT IS A FAVOUR FROM THE PRESIDENT". End!
Those who stormed a church and attacked worshippers were released by the next day. Those who peacefully protested are already in court.
Justice in Kenya no longer appears blind. It seems to recognize faces before it recognizes facts.
On this day, Richard Otieno was the first to lead a peaceful protest against the Finance Bill in 2024.
Kimani Kuriahh , MP of Molo, accused him of stealing chicken from his home. Instead of using the law, he sent goons to end his life.
He was an activist and an aspiring politician.
RIP
Project envisioned and built by the county government of kakamega under
@DrOparanya tenure
Recently handed over to national government when already at this current stage only because that current one has no development bone in him
Two months ago, I warned about the irregular and discriminatory Busia County medical cover. Today, it has been cancelled, leaving county staff without medical insurance.
This is unacceptable. The County Executive must be held accountable. I call upon the County Assembly to act immediately.
Busia County staff deserve better.
Early this morning, we attended Central Police Station where we had information that about 74 people were being held following their arrest during yesterday's demonstrations. In accordance with their right to fair trial, we agitated for their arraignment in Court without undue delay. The 74 will be presented before the Magistrates Court in Milimani later today, where a team of Advocates are on standby to represent them pro bono.
We urge Advocates who are available and around Kibra and Makadara Law Courts to avail themselves in the event some unaccounted people are arraigned in these courts from other police stations.
