Today we broke ground on Anthro Energy, further solidifying Kentucky as a leader in electric vehicle production. This $40 million manufacturing facility will bring 110 new, good-paying jobs to Louisville, creating more opportunity for Kentuckians to provide for their families.
"The joke was distasteful and unfortunate...Now I have to sit in front of you...and explain someone else's behavior. It's not my responsibility."

In the still of the night, after the thousands of daily visitors have gone home, Jim Maroon and his team of custodians care for the 9/11 Memorial in what they consider "more than a job." https://t.co/GJmc1jHzl9
The future is right here in the Bay. Glad to join Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft at the Anthro Energy opening celebration this week in Alameda. As a member of @HSBCDems, I'm a huge supporter of the innovation economy right here in my district and supporting local talent through education and workforce programs.
AMAZING GRACE: NC State AND Wake Forest Marching Band’s came together for a joint performance as a tribute to neighbors in Western NC impacted by Hurricane Helene. @WRAL
Dylan Beard is not your typical Olympic hopeful.
Beard is a hurdler who will compete for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team heading to #Paris2024. He also works a full-time job at the deli counter at a Walmart. He sat down with @craigmelvin to talk about his story.
As someone who has taught reading intervention, I’m pretty quiet on the reading wars except to say that when you use the term “war” you will end up with casualties. You’ll dehumanize. You’ll create enemies in a way that prevents dialogue.
Phonics matter. Blending matters. Stories matter. Prior knowledge matters. Helping kids fall in loving with reading matters.
I want to see kids read. I’m not interested in warfare.
