Iโm now in Srilanka, taking my kids around to show our family roots. We take pride in our srilankan and Indian heritage . Srilanka is a very poor country compared to India but you wonโt find litter , rash driving , harassing locals which is in India . Indians need to take civic sense and respecting tourists serious . Also srilankans love Indians tourists , please donโt litter and spoil Indiaโs name here โค๏ธ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ
This is a bold and courageous step by Sri Lanka. Doing the right thing is often the hardest, especially when complex geopolitical forces are at play, with India, China, US, Iran, and Israel all involved in the region. Given that our gov. and military have not always made the right decisions, this move is especially commendable. ๐ซก๐ฑ๐ฐ

Mickey Arthur was one of the earliest to back Pathum. I specifically remember Mickey calling Pathum a three format player even before he had played all three formats. Vision beyond the present. Big thanks to you Mickey on behalf of all Sri Lankan fans.
Bro Siraj listen, my man Avishka, while he was still unknown to the world, was pulling the likes of Jofra Archer into the stands. Don't bother with the short stuff machan. #SLvIND
@Cricket_decoded Would not say it's far from ideal. Not the best, yeah but with sameera, charitha, angelo, dasun and hasarnga as a floater we have an exciting mix.
@Cricket_decoded I will have to disagree with you here. He was someome who can play both anchor role as well as the aggressor/finisher role. He has played countless innings where he did the latter & his strike rate is ~90. His style was never a concern - his form was.
But what did SL do? They replaced him with a new comer. What do they expect by doing this in the middle of the tournament? Typical SL move. They will probably bring him back against another tough opponent and expect him to do a miracle. No sense of player management ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Wellalage has already shown that he could be that proper alrounder that SL badly need & it would have been ideal opportunity for him to play against a weaker side today and get his confidence back after 3 tough games - so crucial for SLn chances in this WC.
So nobody thinks SL will make it to semis. With the balanced team we have and considering how we have consistently performed well at big stages, I strongly believe SL will make it. Letโs see. #ICCWorldCup2023

@Cricket_decoded I am not surprised. His lack of situational awareness baffles me. Always goes for big hits from the ball one and doesn't even care where the fielders are and what the situation demands. When it comes off it's good - like the Asia cup final. But on average it's more likely to fail
