The work continues on land!

The finds are photographed, measured and documented. The underwater photogrammetry photoshoots are also processed, and the daily site plan and database are updated.

All hands on deck!

The team springs into action as soon as the finds surface, as each of them will need to be properly cleaned, emptied, and photographed on board. The Mazotos database is constantly updated throughout the day.

The 4th-century-BC Mazotos shipwreck, Cyprus: An ancient merchantman, which carried a cargo of Aegean wine, packaged in transport amphorae, mainly from the island of Chios.
