All the federal Covid economic programs - the PPP, the EIDL, the EIP, the CARES act - are chimeras of the federal student loan programs. Some may be forgiven. Others accrue interest from Day1, even though you don't pay for 18 months.

So now you're 95k in the hole and accruing interest at 3.75% and it's a 30 year payoff. Bankruptcy doesn't matter. This is a millstone, just like so many student loans. This will be the 23rd wave of Covid, when the interest-avalanche comes through. Just like loan-sharks.
