Are you retired or something? The vast majority of businesses will barely give you 30 hours let alone 40 or 50, they’ve got all kinds of payroll gymnastics and promotions/ bonus are rarely given out to the average worker. You can be the best and hardest worker there and they’ll cut you without a second thought to keep expenses down. People just don’t wanna work for shitty business that don’t pay enough to cover the bills.
