@joe03454186 @nickythegood Peralta has been a quality SP in this league for 8 years . In 2025 he was in running for cy young . I do like Holmes but calling him an ace (8 games w Mets2026) is a bit much. Comparing him to Freddy is foolish . Also coming off a fractured leg may be a reason for struggles

@meligreeneyez IMO if/when Alvarez moves on to another team he will become the next Freddy Peralta . There is too much talent there for this guy to be this bad for this long .
