Hot take: kids don't need another app, curriculum, or wellness intervention. Sometimes they just need one quiet minute to be on their own and process.
Had a great conversation with @FreeRangeKids today about exactly this, and I'm super grateful for her wise insights. Kids aren't fragile. They're capable. They just need room. That's what @LetGrowOrg does. That's what @MeaningfulMo does. Let them grow!
Some things are simpler than we make them out to be.
Thanks @CarolynGorman_ for the intro!
Heading to New Orleans this Morning for the Louisiana Teacher Leader Summit. Building toward a Meaningful Moment pilot in LA schools this fall.

See you in NOLA!
Last night, I had the honor of having a midnight conversation with the Premier of NSW @ChrisMinnsMP focused on bringing @MeaningfulMo to Australia.
Inspired by his wise leadership and care for the future of NSW.
Immensely grateful to Rabbi Ulman for his leadership during this difficult period in Australia and for bringing this meeting together.
Ending the year. Opening a new chapter.
Last night, I had the honor of celebrating the 8th night of Chanukah with @MayorOfLA in Los Angeles. We spoke about the message of Chanukah, the future of this incredible city, and the importance of giving children in Los Angeles a daily "light over darkness moment", a minute of silent reflection at the beginning of the school day to serve as a shining light guiding them throughout their day.
Children today are carrying a lot. Pressure, noise, confusion, and constant stimulation. That one minute gives them space to pause, breathe, and reflect on values, meaning, and purpose before the day begins.
Seeing the way the Mayor interacted with the children at the event made it clear how deeply she cares about the children who live here and the future of this city.
So much noise.
Our kids are drowning in it - pressure, distractions, nonstop input.
That's why we started Meaningful Moment.
1 minute of silence to start each school day.
1 conversation at home to fuel it.
The result? Calmer kids. Grounded classrooms. Real change.
Theyโve seen what one quiet minute can do.
A Meaningful Moment gives students a calm, focused start to their day.
It doesnโt require new curriculums or class conversations.
Just sixty seconds of quiet.
This isnโt about adding more. Itโs about making space.
Meaningful for students, a pause for teachers, and most of all, meaningful conversations between children and parents.

In a time of such pain and uncertainty, it was incredibly meaningful to pause and pray at the Ohel, a deeply spiritual place that inspires and moves so many.
This Sunday is the 3rd of Tammuz and the Rebbe's 31st yahrtzeit. I will use the day to reflect on his impact on my life, on the Jewish community and on society more broadly.
Among the Rebbe's many teachings that motivate me is his belief that each and every person possesses the God-given potential to make the world a better and brighter place by doing more mitzvot.
It was an honor and a pleasure to pray with @JGreenblattADL by the Rebbeโs Gravesite. We prayed for Israel, the Jewish people, and the United States of America.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Kodi Lee at the Friendship Circle Center in Detroit, after seeing him perform the night before at their dinner.
What a special person. His joy is magnetic, his presence uplifting, and his music tremendously inspiring.
Sometimes we forget what it's all about. One look at his shirt reminds us.
What if every child started their day with purpose? This is the power of a Meaningful Moment - one minute of silent reflection to ground, inspire, and build a better future from within. It starts now.
A small pause, a soft shift.

Because children deserve time to reflect on their values.
A moment โ a tool โ to help students begin their day grounded, present, and reflective.
Let's bring this to more classrooms.

You just took a moment. Now imagine if every child could too - at the start of each school day.
At Meaningful Moment, we bring a daily pause to public schools.
To give children the space to reflect.
Over 43,000 students already start their day this way. Let's bring it to more.
