@BobRules4038@TopTierPucks Okay but no one was arguing Utah’s abilities, the whole point of the original post was how ridiculous it is that someone with voting rights for major awards doesn’t even know which division Utah plays in. They can’t be top of the Pacific when they don’t play in the Pacific.
@BobRules4038@TopTierPucks Utah isn’t in the same division as Edmonton and Vegas. As good as they are, they aren’t going to be top of the pacific division while playing in the central.
@Jessemedscience The problem is getting a pick means having to develop the prospect into an NHL player or letting a rookie learn as he plays… not a lot of faith in the organization to actually do that.
@_TyAnderson I do remember that being mentioned particularly with the pick for Freddie. It’s not the worst idea but if you’re aiming for safer floor and still end up with that little to show for games played it feels like a broader issue.
Keep posting this so people don’t forget how truly bad this event was.
Don’t let people gaslight you into thinking it was peaceful and worthy of 1500+ pardons and slush fund payoffs.
@pictoshi@hell_line0 That doesn’t change the question. You said there needs to be laws that allow for “extreme” situations while still stopping the irresponsible and selfish ones - whether that’s at 4wks or 34wks you think someone making “irresponsible and selfish” decisions should be raising a kid?
@pictoshi@hell_line0 So you think it’s better for someone that is in your opinion “irresponsible and selfish” to be legally required to have a child they didn’t want? Do you think that will create a healthy life for that child?
@JimJerome2@DarrenDreger Completely clear view, it’s cut off in the cropped pic but in the full view you can see the linesman is standing on the opposite end of the blue line looking straight at the play with no other players in his line of sight.
As my good friend @Jor_Henry pointed out…
The Toronto Maple Leafs have missed the playoffs twice in the past 10 years.
They’ve won the lottery both times.
@PuckPedia I mean it’s basically a moot point anyways, Toronto wouldn’t choose to freely give Boston a top 10 pick after the Kessel trade when they can give it up out of the division. PHI is going to end up with the 2027 either way.
The Bruins are now 3-10 in their last 13 home playoff games dating back to 2023. It's their worst 13-game home playoff segment since a 3-10 run that ran from 1995 to 1999. Also on longest home playoff losing streak (five games) since seven-game skid from 1994 to 1996.
