Year 3 were invited to Furness College to take part in #STEM2023. We met lots of interesting people with amazing, interactive activities. We listened to a speech by the Deputy Mayor and watched a show by the crazy scientist, Professor Pumpernickel. What a great morning!

These chips were so easy to make, so tasty and a massive hit with the children. They certainly didn’t last long!

As part of DT in year 3, our children made Fruity yoghurt. They were practicing their ‘bridge and claw’ cutting skills and making a wonderful job! It was certainly mixed feelings on the taste.

The children have been invited to St Mary’s church on Sunday 18th December at 4pm for the Christingle Service.

On Monday year 3 visited St Mary’s church as part of our RE topic. Mary and Maureen told us lots of interesting facts about the church. The children asked sensible questions and were extremely well behaved. 🌟

On Tuesday, we were lucky enough to attend a Stone Age workshop. We made made our own axe and designed cave paintings. What a fun day!

On Friday, the children of Year 3 went to St Matthews Hall to take part in The Big Sing.
