It takes a commissioned officer in the Nigerian Army a minimum of 25 to 30 years of active, uninterrupted service to reach the rank of Major General. 30+ active years of service to his country, but look at how the system neglected him in those hard times.
This is someone that dedicated his whole life in service to Nigeria, who contributed more than those currently in Government, whose only contribution is looting our resources and buying their ways to power.
This is really heartbreaking ๐
You are still giving these evil monsters a "window of surrender"? How many more innocent citizens must they kill before that window closes?
As Commander in Chief, you should ensure that Kachalla Muhammad, the alleged killer of the late General, is brought to justice without delay. That is the least Nigeria can do for a retired General who served his country with distinction. Anything short of swift and decisive action would be a betrayal of his service, sacrifice, and memory.
We just had a lengthy discussion with a respected elder brother from Northern Nigeria who lives in the diaspora about the surge in insecurity across the region.
He raised a very important point, asking that beyond lamentation, what can we do, within the law, to help curb the situation?
He observed that whenever such incidents occur, we express our frustrations for a few days and then move on. In contrast, he cited the recent Ibadan incident and highlighted how their influencers and the community leaders responded with concrete actions, which ultimately produced the desired results.
He suggested a number of ideas, including peaceful protests, policy briefs, and other forms of civic engagement.
I promised him that I would bring the issue to the public so that we can gather contributions and ideas on how to move forward.
So, what do you think we, as a people, both at home and in the diaspora, can do to contribute to addressing the problem of insecurity in Arewa?
โWe are mobilizing protests across Northern states, then we will proceed to Abuja with our beds and Garri and stay there until Tinubu listens to us and take urgent action to solve our problems.โ Enough is Enough!
- Northern Actor Sadiq Sani Sadiq
They are Northerners
Meanwhile even the miserable Governors of these Northern States do not care as long as they are packing billions of Naira every month from FAAC
Itโs like even the citizens are scared of missing the next 5kg rice palliatives to protest
Dear @HQNigerianArmy,
None of you is immuned to what happened to Late Gen. Rabe. He has spent the prime of his life serving the country. He has laid his life to safeguard the nation. Today, he died in the captivity of terrorists under the administration of @officialABAT. History will record this.
A wake up call that nobody is free from the terror of these animals. Nigeria failed him. Tinubu's govt failed him.
Each and every one of them, including their sponsors, their informants and even the government officials responsible for securing our lives who have failed to do so, from the president downward! Allah Ya Isa!

Meanwhile all the Arewa Allah Ya Isa/North Is Bleeding /Speaking truth to power cartel of the PMB era and current yan banga of T-Pain regime are busy pushing regime propaganda agenda
I am not sure there is any single protest anywhere in the North but in the South West were T-Pain hails from, his kinsmen are demanding he resign if he canโt fix the escalating insecurity problems
Just imagine how the North has been wrecked by lazy young men and women who worship politically exposed thieves for pittance and soft life
This is a retired army General, his wife and innocent Nigerians, no outrage

Just yesterday, I spoke to my wife about how Major Rabeโs situation has been bothering me, and she asked whether he had any health complications. I had even intended to record a video reminding us of our deafening silence while gallant men who fought for us, like Rabe and his family, remain in detention, only to receive this news now. I wish it were possible to give up, because we do not act like people who understand the gravity of the situation we are in. Allah ya isa
Muktar Ramalan Yero @ramalanyero served as Commissioner for 3 years, Deputy Governor for 2 years & Governor for 3 years. With all these opportunities, the major beneficiaries of his time in office were a few close associates, friends & family members.
In fact, even some residents of his immediate community in Kaura complained that they did not feel the impact of having one of their own occupy such strategic positions in government.
Since leaving office in 2015, he remained absent from the public space. Nobody can point a single major empowerment programme, community intervention he personally sponsored for the benefit of his constituents or the wider zone.
Now after securing a senatorial ticket, he is set to distribute solar streetlights across Zone One. Why now? Why not over the last ten years?
We are wiser today. We have seen this movie before & we are no longer interested in seasonal empowerment programmes that appear only when votes are needed.
This strategy may have worked in the past, but times have changed.
Dear @officialABAT, @officialSKSM
On your Democracy Day, tens of your citizens have been massacred by terrorists.
You have failed them as a govt, and as leaders.
I hope the @OfficialDSSNG@PoliceNG@NGRSenate will come up with an explanation regarding this aircraft, allegedly linked to a Church in Nigeria. Especially in the midst of increased insecurity in the country.
Denying Malam @elrufai bail id just an explanation of the toxic politics of T-Pain. He is the only Northern Politician they can't blackmail not silence. They can't break him.
May Allรฃh continue to be your strength.
We call on the international community to look into the dictatorship Tinubu is displaying under a so-called Democracy.
