@joelP826 You'd think so, but in the midst of covid a government official in the Utah town (county?) of Gold found that more than half of the supposed covid deaths were gunshot wounds. But it works with any cause of death -- 90 percent of "covid" deaths were from other causes.

I'm shocked, shocked, I tell you. Yes, it's the Daily Mail, but the WaPo article is behind a paywall. They wuz lying about Covid deaths. (If you died of a gunshot wound and happened to have covid, you counted as a covid death.)

Fun fact: we have found thousands of planets in our galaxy, but Mars stands out from all of them in that we know that (1) it supports a population of somewhat intelligent creatures and (2) they are ALL robots. Perhaps we should rename it? "Cybberneo? Fascinating.

Voted (in Florida) today. Very well-run. ID check, you get a paper ballot and a place to fill it in. Then you're guided to the scanner, which checks for errors and the vote's in the system. The paper ballot is kept in case a hand count is called for. I wish every state did this.
