A Southern governor pleading for the rescue of Borno kidnapped schoolchildren on behalf of 19 northern governors who are more obsessed with Tinubu’s reelection than security of their people.
It’s been 135days (4 Months,12 days) since 42 school children between the ages of 2 and 14 (only 4 are 15 years old) were abducted from their school in Askira-Uba, Borno state 💔 Nigerians, these aren’t just numbers, THEY ARE YOUR CHILDREN!!! @officialABAT@GovBorno@ProfZulum, we are all painfully waiting to hear the progress made by security forces to bring them home!!!! #BringBornochildrenHome

After spending one month away from Nigeria without handing over to his vice.
Assuming it was a Northerner on seat the SW would be the loudest voice calling for impeachment. Bunch of hypocrites.
Dear Nigerian Government,
When our children were abducted in Oyo, we saw urgency.
You deployed 1,000 forest guards. You provided updates. You showed concern. You pursued the kidnappers and eventually brought the children home.
We applauded you because we believed that response reflected the value you place on every Nigerian life.
So why has the response to the #BornoSchoolChildren been so different?
Their parents have protested repeatedly. They have pleaded for their children. Yet months later, we are still waiting for the same urgency, the same visible effort and the same determination we witnessed in Oyo.
No Nigerian is more Nigerian than another Nigerian!
It is already a failure that these children were abducted. It would be another failure to allow their parents to keep pleading while their children remain in captivity.
Give Borno the same urgency you gave Oyo and #BringBornochildrenHome.
There is no single inner caucus supporting Tinubu today, that at one point or another has not called him terrible names that I can never look at him/his old age and call him such.
Is it @renoomokri or @MasterBolaji ? @aonanuga1956@fkeyamo@DOlusegun@realFFK
We are only being an opposition to someone we once supported, because he has only made life hard for Nigerians while he and his family enjoy the largesse.
Add yours to the thread🤦😁
Not holding brief for Atiku, but there were allegations on your principal dealing in drugs and forfeiting some huge amount to the US government, at a very young age, as strongly held by @renoomokri before the noted touch his hands.
Yourself @fkeyamo has allegedly made corruption and certificate forgery allegations against the same man you're holding brief for, back then in 2002, before the notes begin to touch your hands. (https://t.co/2Qf9SwnnJJ).
You are all jokers with no integrity whatsoever.
In my few years of living, except for Fir’auna, I have never heard, read, or seen a government that appears so heartless, so detached, and with seemingly zero empathy for the common man as the current administration in Nigeria.
How can you, as a government, with the realities Nigerians are currently facing, even be thinking about removing another subsidy?
How do you want to run a government where you make more and more money, yet you do less and less for the people? The only thing Nigerians seem to see is more revenue being shared among the Federal Government and the governors, while ordinary Nigerians continue to get poorer and poorer by the day.
How can we be running a government that does not want to subsidise anything in a country where millions of people are struggling with poverty and the cost of living is becoming unbearable?
We have not even settled down from the removal of the FX and petrol subsidies. Nigerians are still grappling with the consequences, and now you want to remove electricity subsidy as well, despite the fact that you have already tripled electricity tariffs in the past three years.
What exactly have Nigerians gained from all these subsidy removals?
The justification has always been that removing subsidies would free up government resources and ultimately improve the lives of Nigerians. But three years down the line, what the average Nigerian feels is more hardship, higher prices, reduced purchasing power, and an increasingly unbearable cost of living.
Where does this administration summon the courage to be this heartless? How does a government become this oblivious to the obvious pain being experienced by millions of its own citizens?
At what point does government stop looking at Nigerians merely as a source of revenue and begin to see them as human beings who are already struggling to survive?
There is nothing wrong with reforms. But reforms must have a human face. Government cannot continuously ask citizens to make sacrifice after sacrifice while giving them little reason to believe that those sacrifices are actually improving their lives.
You cannot keep increasing the cost of everything and then expect the common man to endure it, what will the government and people in power be enduring? Nothing!
Nigerians are tired. This is troubling, and, honestly, very unsettling.
BEWARE OF SUPPORTING LEADERS BECAUSE OF WORLDLY GAINS.
May your loyalties never be for sale. It is sad seeing young people support leaders only for what they expect to get. May you never get that thing you're looking for.
Let me remind my self and you of a Hadith reported by Imams Bukhari & Muslim:
"There are 3 types of people whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, & they will suffer a painful punishment:
1. A man who has excess water in the desert and withholds it from a traveler.
2. A man who gives a pledge of allegiance (Bay'ah) to a leader for nothing other than worldly gain; if the leader gives him what he wants, he fulfills his pledge, but if he does not give him anything, he does not fulfill it.
3. A man who sells goods to another man after the 'Asr prayer, swearing by Allah that he bought them for such-and-such a price, so the buyer believes him and takes them, when that was not the case." (Sahih al-Bukhari 2358, Sahih Muslim 108).
You see this Hadith? It scares me. Because I swear by Allãh, a lot of people are perfect definitions of this.
Be careful. Be careful. Be careful.
You campaign for a leader, vote for them & call others to vote them, just so that the leader acknowledges & pay you after he wins. The moment he refuses to do that, you turn to be his enemy. The moment he gives you that, you take back all your attacks & become supportive again.
Danger! In your faith. If one doesn't repent, the Hadith says, such a person would enter Hellfire.
Den of Cr!minals? Unless if you're one of them dude. Some of you are just shameless liars. There was never a time that Ranchers Bees Stadium (Now Kaduna Township Stadium) was a den of criminals. I was born and grew up not far from this location that one Pooja from Gbagada would come with his empty head and lie about.
Shameless people.
I am a fan. I am a political disciple of Malam, and a believer in his competence. He isn't perfect. But he is the best politician alive in Northern Nigeria.
Retweet if you're a fan!
