Putin tried and failed to murder Navalny quickly and secretly with poison, and now he has murdered him slowly and publicly in prison. He was killed for exposing Putin and his mafia as the crooks and thieves they are. My thoughts are with the brave man's wife and children.
While other public services are being starved of funds, billions are poured into a catastrophic road-building programme, that can be sustained only by lies and obfuscation.
Why? Because roads are among the few public services used by the very rich.

@leeroyjones73 What really gets my goat is, like most people using a bike, I have a taxed car at home, yet these numb-skulls think I should pay extra for using a much more environmentally friendly and healthy alternative instead.
@sexandtheswiss I've used my head: I've done the research and conducted a personal cost/benefit analysis. The conclusion of which is I mostly (but not always) don't bother with a helmet. I don't need advertising telling me I haven't used my head.
The fact neither the prime minister nor the leader of the opposition said a SINGLE WORD about a report warning that we are about to make the actual planet we live on UNLIVEABLE, tells you just how broken our political system is & how unfit it is to deal with what is coming.

@mattwardman @allpartycycling That's what I was wondering. When I was a teenager in the late eighties I'd ride between the two, centre to centre, in less than 30 minutes. A40 was good for a high average speed.
We tolerate a level of killing on our roads that would be considered entirely unacceptable were it happening anywhere else.
Do we all need to lose a child before things change?

@nikc68@johnredwood Leaving the EU free trade zone was always going to be incompatible with the good Friday agreement. Any politician worth their salt should have sorted this before the brexit vote. #LeadByDonkeys
Tell us again @dorsetpolice why the public have to be endangered by hunts like the Portman hunting foxes over roads. The whipper-in eventually puts hounds through a hedge before others in the distance locate the fox and he encourages them on. Hounds ended up on the A30.
