The last 4 years of endurance sports taught me that nothing changes from one big day.
It changes from a thousand normal ones.
Some weeks you feel unstoppable.
Other weeks you’re tired, distracted, doubting everything.
You train anyway.
That’s the part no one sees.
That’s the part that actually compounds.
Results don’t come from intensity once in a while.
They come from staying in it long enough for the work to stack.
Same approach I take with my body.
Same approach I take with business.
How to scale a high-ticket offer to $1M/month:
1. Vet the offer for cold traffic viability
2. Confirm fulfillment can handle volume
3. Build the confirmation page
4. Add a founder video at the top
5. Add 3 custom videos below it
6. Write pre-call email and SMS sequences
7. Hire closers with cold traffic experience
8. Build the CRM and pipeline from scratch
9. Set comp structure before the first call
10. Launch ads and track cost per call daily
11. Review every call from day one
12. Flag performance issues before they compound
13. Watch ROAS hit above 5x
14. Confirm closers have calendar space
15. Raise ad spend 20% per day
16. Repeat until you hit $1M/month
Congrats. You have a machine.
(Most offer owners will read this and still wonder why they're stuck at $50K/month)
I did myself dirty as a young entrepreneur.
Looking back, here’s my biggest regret:
I pretended I wasn't smart enough to understand how a profit and loss works. Or how a balance sheet works. Or how debt and cash flow actually works. I said it wasn’t for me, and hired an expert to take care of it instead.
But I found out that’s the one thing in business you should never outsource.
Years ago, I brought in a CFO from one of the big four accounting firms. He spoke the language of finance perfectly, and was actually a friend from college. He’s a great human being who didn't mean to cause any harm.
But instead of having hard conversations, telling me "Chris, we have to stop X, Y, and Z right now and fire everybody," we just kept borrowing debt hoping things would turn around.
And when you're a self-funded business personally guaranteeing that debt, you're literally taking on the liability to pay your employees' bills instead of taking care of yourself first.
That led to years of depression and sadness.
Thank God we clawed our way out of it.
My biggest regret now:
If I had clearly identified this mental block earlier, I would have had the hardest conversation of my life right then, and fired everybody on the spot.
Instead, I let the bleeding continue for months and it made everything so much worse.
As a result, I've never looked at a balance sheet or a P&L the same way since.
So if you take one thing from this, let it be this:
Never delegate your finances. Your company’s growth depends on it.
Meet the #1 psychologist in the world:
Daniel Kahneman.
He spent his life studying why humans make irrational decisions.
Here are his 7 lessons on mastering your own mind:
After running 3 marathons, 3 Ironman 70.3s, and 50+ half marathons while running a business...
I've come to understand one thing:
These 10 habit combinations will quietly destroy your results (no matter how hard you try):
1. Daily cardio + eating in a caloric deficit.
Stop trying to create emotional urgency with wealthy buyers.
Whether you're selling at $10K, $50K, or $100K+...
Here's how rich people actually buy and what your closer should be doing instead:
Gun to my head.
If I was starting a brand new YouTube channel and needed to hit 10k subscribers in the next 90 days, here's exactly what I'd do:
Step 1: Steal a proven format from a completely different niche and be first to use it in mine.
If you:
• Work a 9 to 5 job
• Have at least $500 to invest
• Want to make money while you sleep
You should seriously consider placing a vending machine.
Here's the easiest way to land your first location:
You could literally:
- Sign 5 clients at $5k/month each
- Use AI for 80% of fulfillment
- Hire one VA for $2k/month
- Work 5 hours per week total
- Make $40k+/month
Here's exactly how to do it:
I turned $50 into $3,754 using only candlesticks.
No indicators.
No secret system.
Just one simple strategy I use every morning.
Here's exactly how it works (& how you can copy me):
Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in history.
• 8 gold medals at a single Olympics
• 23 gold medals over 5 Olympic Games
• World records that haven't been touched in over 15 years
Here's the routine that made him untouchable (& what you can learn from it):
They told you YouTube success requires:
• Posting 3x a week
• A professional camera setup
• Coming up with ideas yourself
But none of it is true..
Here are the 7 things you need to grow your YouTube channel:
Last Friday, we hosted Female Founders Day with surprise guest, Michele Romanow, from Dragon's Den.
Our ladies at The Founders Club loved it.
Dragon’s Den is the Canadian version of Shark Tank, where founders pitch their products and ideas to a panel of experienced investors to secure critical funding and business partnerships to scale their businesses to the next level.
Michele was the perfect fit, as she believes that the world's toughest challenges can be only solved by entrepreneurs. She’s committed especially to helping the founders who didn’t go to the right schools or grow up in the right families get their chance to make a difference.
She says “hustle should always matter more than pedigree.” And I couldn’t agree more.
Michele co-founded and led Clearco (formerly Clearbanc) to become the world’s largest e-commerce investor, investing over $3.2B in over 7,000 different companies across 10 countries. They’ve now backed 25x more women than the VC industry average, plus founders in all 50 states in America by using AI to make investment decisions instead of humans.
Michele has been an investor on Dragons’ Den for over 6 seasons now, with dozens of angel investments including Endy (acquired by Sleep Country for $89M), TruLocal (acquired by Emerge for $17M), RVezy, https://t.co/6xrzzmYjNj, Haus, https://t.co/pzvexJjZ7P, Sheetex, Signos, Mastermind, Inkbox, TruFan, Lillia, Lucky Iron Fish, https://t.co/WhrVar45xa, Swyft and https://t.co/uke0OUbSbm. Voted Angel Investor of the Year in Canada.
Huge thanks to Michele for putting on an absolute masterclass, and to the TFC team for making this happen!
