@HalHaneyArt I’d love a bunch from Georgia Championship/Mid-Atlantic: Gordon Solie, The Great Kabuki, Gary Hart, Tommy Rich, Buzz Sawyer…not sure if any of them ever had a figure. Also would like a Piper in his commentator leisure suit look.
@TheMattCardona@MajorWFPod I have to go with Macho Man. I’ll buy all of his figures. Warrior is 2nd, and even tho I didn’t like him as a wrestler, he had THE LOOK. Rey’s up there too- I have like 18 different colored Jakks RAs of him, I don’t even remember buying most!
@MajorWFPod@drinkgaragebeer@TheMattCardona@Myers_Wrestling@MarkSterlingEsq Yep, the Kenner ESB AT-AT. I remember “prioritizing” it over other toys on my X-Mas list the year it came out, then the following year, it was all I asked for. I knew several kids who had it and it was awesome. Took me until the mid 90s to get one at a flea market.
@MajorWFPod@Myers_Wrestling I was planning on picking up those 3. I skipped on the Rooster before. Wish Beefcake was a little more of a variant, but he still looks good. Now seeing the comparison, not sure about Virgil- the outfit and skin tone look great, but that height? Was the older one too short?
@MajorWFPod Jesse and the Fuj are preorders for sure, the others maybe on clearance. I kinda like the Austin, but do I really need another? Only mildly interesting in the Crazy Bob BaF.
@MajorWFPod Kona Crush, El Matador Tito and the Ultimate Hacksaw are definite buys…although I wish one of those Hacksaw heads had the American flag facepaint. I have the old basic, but an upgrade would be cool.
@MajorWFPod It’s happened a few times. Almost every Marvel Legend I ever preordered from them got canceled. Surprisingly, they followed through with the MNW Hak a few months ago.
@MajorWFPod@RingsideC I snagged the variant, passed on the regular since I’m cool with the Elites from a few years back. I’d like to see them make the blue gear from mid 90s WCW…I have the basics and they’re looking a little dated.
@MajorWFPod An elite tux/Demolition manager with face paint and alternate non-face painted head, cane and bowler hat is a must for me. I have the Jakks one on the shelf with the Mattels, and it isn’t quite cutting it. Also would like an early 80s ring gear Fuji.
@Plaidstallions I was a “toy line tourist” too! I’d sample them…usually 2 figures- a good guy and a bad guy. Oddly enough, I had practically the whole Crystar line, loved those figures. As for Indy, I could never find his main outfit figure! Had him with the Map Room and German disguise.
@PixelDan I preordered the Monday Night Wars Hak, supposedly shipping in March. I doubt it’ll actually make it here. Also hate how WM charges for preorders right away, then refund you, then charges again right before it ships.
@RamonesOfficial About 41. I remember liking them right away when I saw the “Rock n Roll High School” and “Do You Remember Rock n Roll Radio” videos on MTV (hate to give them the credit, but it’s true).
@TheFinestCC@JoefestToyComic Oh yeah, I collected the hell out of the 25th Ann./Modern Era line. Probably have about 95% of it, got tons of extras as army builders and custom fodder, too. What an amazing toy line it was.
