@seahawksmba To be clear, I like the hire and am glad he’ll be on staff. Just don’t tell me he’s anywhere near a top 10 BSU player of all-time. Think about what so many better than average past players could have done if they had a 6th year too
Listen,Max was a good player, and by the time his 6th yr rolled around, he was quite good. But listening to the local media try to tell us he’s a top whatever BSU player of all time by pointing to his career stats, when almost 50% of those state were his 6th covid yr is laughable
Tale as old as time, Boise State player leaves eligibility on the table to get drafted day 3. In the NIL era, this should never happen… #whosadvisingtheseguys?
@BJRains My view/ question. Last year we signed the starting PG from UCLA and starting Center from Georgetown. This year we’ve signed lower level players (not saying they aren’t good), haven’t retained our top 4 salary guys from last year. and have an extra $1 million. Where’s the $$$?
@BJRains I said “high” six figures. But yes, I know we had to pay for them. But I’m asking the same question everyone else is…. $1 million more for NIL this coming year. Lost $800k Andrews, over $500k Meadow, $300+ for Buchanan and Fielder…. So where is all the money going?
Honest question: Apparently the NIL budget for BSU hoops is going up about $1 million this year. We didn’t retain our two biggest dollar players (+JB) and have only brought in lower level guys. So where’s all the money going? Is Peanut making a million all of the sudden 😂?
Inaugural AC Boise game. Apologies on the camera work….🤷♂️ Awesome atmosphere, and no 30- minute concession lines was a nice change of pace in town!!!
@zooch23@BJRains Who thinks that? He was getting 6 figures here at Boise State this year. I’m sure he’ll get even more somewhere else. Maybe 7 figures actually
