This is a perfect example of why Colorado needs serious oversight of taxpayer dollars. Medicaid now consumes a massive portion of our state budget, and every dollar spent unnecessarily is a dollar that can’t go toward helping the truly vulnerable, improving public safety, fixing our roads, or reducing the tax burden on hardworking families.

People are free to make personal decisions about their own lives. That’s not the issue. Colorado needs leadership with the courage to ask tough questions, demand accountability, and put the interests of taxpayers first.
