@mmrt_21 stuff she posted on aug does not match the style on her vgen.. like at all. Both chibis and normal proportion are completely different, it became ai anime style
Beginning of August Few weeks later...
@AxeRespect okay there's obviously some language gap here bc i've been drawing for like 2 decades and you're saying im pro-AI...im not lmao. that's sort of the whole reason this started. im muting this though since we're never gonna get anywhere though byeee
@artfraud_Hub they seem to take a lot of phrases literally and it's making them miss my point in a lot of responses so im realizing there's some language gap and better not to keep replying. nice looking out though
@AxeRespect way because she didn't--at least not without using genAI. the improvements she would have made in her existing pieces, before that jump in quality in August would have yielded different and slower results
@AxeRespect "progress is CONDUCIVE" in this specific case means while, yes, you improve over time that progress still has a reasonable explanation for going the way it did. in this case, you're saying zydia's Vgen examples look the way they do because of practice. im saying they look that 3/
@AxeRespect and im sorry but you need to use examples other than yourself. im glad you make art but you are not a great example in this convo. not that im interested in seeing better examples. or even talking about this any further since i dont even know if im talking to a human being
@AxeRespect you reading anything i'm saying? are you a bot im genuinely asking because not only have you responded to me like in like 7 separate threads with 7 different things, but i am literally agreeing with you partially where "progress is not linear" DOES MEAN "progress can be anything"
@AxeRespect i can overlook the chibi situation--that's why i said i'm more curious about those...Because I Am. to me, those examples are more indicative of genAI use than anything else. progress is not linear but it is conducive, and those examples are not conducive to what growth looks like
@AxeRespect the perspective's a lot more interesting in the most recent one but no, this is a lot more normal and im not surprised these are only a month apart
@AxeRespect so is there a reason you leave out that i'm pointing out a lot of queer fans (like me) are not aware of how they share spaces with people who strongly dislike poc and queer people (of which i am both) while being surprised when said people rear their ugly heads?
Here is the recorded layer file for the recovered artwork I worked on. Please note that this piece was not fully rendered and was only recovered from the available files.
I will not be selling any merchandise, as I feel that the artwork I created has already been heavily scrutinized and discussed.
For the time being, I will also be stepping away from drawing and taking a break from art.
Thank you for understanding.
From their media tab alone, it looks like their major art progression wasn't over this past year, but just in August...that's not really enough time? I think they can draw, while picking and choosing where to include genAI in their pieces.
@rustlingmuse you're guessing they weren't "really mean" when all you have to go off of is her tweet and your experience. which could be totally different from what she's gone through
@rustlingmuse everyone is assuming she still doesn't know tagalog but she literally said she knows how to speak and write, just that along the way, people made fun of her. kind of appalled at how many people keep running with the idea that she's just been a sitting duck all these years
@heyitspholop from what op's said herself, it's not like she didn't know any, just not -enough- but eventually learned it after struggling for a while. i wouldn't expect empathy from twitter period, but people are interpreting her words to mean something she never really said.
