Brazil 🇧🇷 has already seen a million cases of #dengue this year.
Multiple methods are needed to combat the spread, as our Head of Dengue @GMalavige explains in this NPR article:

📢 #ReleaseMatiullahWesa
Meet Matiullah Wesa, an inspiring advocate for girls' education in #Afghanistan 🇦🇫 and the founder of The Pen Path organization (@PenPath1). Since 2009, he has been a prominent figure in the fight for education rights in the war-torn nation.
In 2016, Wesa led a book donation campaign to establish libraries in #Kunar, #Helmand, #Kandahar, and #Uruzgan provinces, aiming to provide access to knowledge and opportunities for countless young minds.
Throughout 2017, he tirelessly journeyed across Afghanistan, tirelessly campaigning for the reopening of schools, emphasizing the importance of education amidst adversities.
However, on March 27, 2023, tragedy struck when the #Taliban arrested Wesa in #Kabul, accompanied by a raid on his home. This shocking event elicited sadness from former President @KarzaiH, who fervently called for his release.
The international community, represented by the @UN, also demanded transparency and information regarding Wesa's arrest and location.
Join the global call to #ReleaseMatiullahWesa, rallying to put pressure on the Taliban and international politics for his immediate release.
Let us stand together in solidarity with Matiullah Wesa, amplifying his vision for education, peace, and hope in Afghanistan. The world needs more advocates like him, dedicated to uplifting lives through the power of education.
Amidst all the worries I sometimes feel about climate crises, wars and gender discrimination in Afghanistan, these words of #TimKeller give me consolation and #hope. Everything is gonna be allright.
555 days since the Taliban banned teenage girls from school. Afghan women & girls remain devastated by this ongoing ban. Those like education activist @matiullahwesa who have called for women to be allowed back into their classrooms, have been arrested #LetAfghanGirlsLearn
Female students are entirely hopeless. 💔
Why would they not cry? They are loosing their future, they are loosing everthing. This is insane!
#LetHerLearn#LetAfghanGirlsLearn
A small group of misguided & misogynist old men siting in Kandahar, aided by an army of blind loyalists, are destroying the lives of millions of Afghans.
Nothing can get better as long as they remain in charge.
We need to resist their rule in every way possible.
#LetHerLearn
